Winter 2008: EE265 - Digital Signal Processing Labs

This course introduces the fundamentals of applied digital signal processing by implementing a wide range of digital signal processing (DSP) applications on the Texas Instrument (TI) TMS320C55x DSP processor. Applications covered include digitization of analog signals, FIR filtering, IIR filtering, FFT, FFT filtering, data, and wireless communication.

Autumn 2007: EE264 - Digital Signal Processing

In this course we will discuss modern digital signal processing techniques commonly used in wireless communication, video signal processing, and bio-engineering. Specific topics include time and frequency domain sampling, two-sided Z-transform, A/D and D/A conversion, linear phase filters, IIR and FIR filter design techniques, quantization effects, DFT and its applications, and digital rate conversion.
